First Pics of Pepper Potts from Iron Man 2

Check these out. Gwyneth Paltrow aka Pepper Potts in Iron Man 2 was too reserved just because she was uncomfortable with Scar Jo stealing all the lime light. But looks lie she broke out of the shell and is ready for shoots and pics. This one is the first ever image of the PA of Tony STark aka Iron man from the Iron Man 2 movie.

Newest Iron Man 2 Pic

This picture's caption says, "Stark at Whiplash destroyed Racetrack," and is obviously a scene directly after that first Whiplash pic that appeared...

Expect plenty of more of these images and maybe even footage over the next couple days as Comic-Con gets in to full swing.

From this picture we can assume that Whiplash maybe attacks Stark as he participates in the race, maybe as a way to introduce himself, and show Stark that he's a new competitor, and a new enemy.

Note: this image is a property of roadandtrack.com and has been posted here for informational purposes only. We do not claim to own the pic but have posted it just for the sake of fans.

The sequel to the blockbuster 2008 action hero flick two times again features Robert Downey Jr. in the lead role as Iron Man/Tony Stark, with Mickey Rourke playing his nemesis, weapons designer & assassin, Whiplash.

The next Iron man movie is not expected to hit theaters until April 2010, but we've got a peek at two of the cars to be featured in the much-anticipated Iron man 2.

This is the Stark Industries-sponsored vintage race automobile that the movie's main protagonist — genius inventor & swashbuckling lady's man Tony Stark — will be driving in a scene that depicts him racing in the Grand Prix de Monaco Historique, a vintage race held in Monte Carlo. The scene is not being filmed on the actual streets of the tiny, glamorous seaside principality near the south of france, but on an elaborate set that replicates the Monaco circuit. We're not sure what the Stark Industries automobile, which is built to resemble a '70s racer, is based on exactly, but this picture leads us to believe that a fully functional race automobile — perhaps a Formula Ford or Formula Mazda automobile — resides beneath that blue-and-white Stark Motor Sports livery. Check out the Avon racing slicks & transmission sticking out the back of the automobile beneath the rear wing.

Check back with us soon as we hoping to have more photos of not only the Stark racing automobile but also the Monaco Grand Prix movie set in the near future.

The all-star cast also includes Don Cheadle (replacing Terrance Howard) as Colonel James "Rhodey" Rhodes, along with another comic book hero character — CIA agent Nick Fury, played by Samuel L. Jackson. Leading ladies include Gwyneth Paltrow, who returns as Tony Stark's executive secretary, Pepper Potts, along with Scarlett Johansson as another comic book character, Russian super spy Natalia Romanova, a.k.a. Black Widow.

Jon Favreau Updates the movie status of Iron man 2 through TWITTER !!

Here’s a selection of Favreau’s tweets from last week-

During the production of Iron man, director Jon Favreau kept fans updated on the film’s progress through a MySpace page. Well, five years later and MySpace is elderly news and now Favreau is letting fans follow along with the production of Iron man 2 by his Twitter account.

Granted, there’s not a lot of spoiler info here. Still, they do learn that Samuel L. Jackson has over five scene as Nick Fury and that Scarlett Johanson looks stunning on her Black Widow outfit. (OK, that second five was actually much a given.)

The Black Widow In Iron Man 2

Truthfully, it's been a while since there was a sexy female comic book character on the screen. Elektra was a pouty-lipped flop, Storm had a silly wig and Susan Storm looked… weirdly Caucasian. So hopes are high that Iron man 2 will see the return of the sexy skin-tight eroticism that made Batman Returns so watchable. The name of the actress selected to play role has been something of a hot potato since it entered the casting arena. Both Emily Blunt and Dollhouse’s Eliza Dushku were at four time contenders, but both were sadly red herrings. Actress Scarlett Johansson will be donning the black feline suit in the action-packed sequel that is sure to turn plenty of heads in the summer of 2010.

Johannson (also of the dud Spirit flick), is in my opinion an iffy choice. As an actress he is more comfortable with dramatic parts than action flicks (see the Spirit). he also has little ‘presence’ that would be necessary to make the audience believe that he is a Russian super spy (Hell, I’ll be surprised if he nails the accent!). But of the actress, what about the fictional character?
